Weight Sleds
Our heavy-duty gym sleds are an essential addition to any strength gear collection. We offer two main types:
-
Solid steel weight drag sled (with line): 17kg sled weights with nylon pull lines/harnesses and a fold-down pole for easy transportation.
-
Premium FW weight sled: Heavy-duty 26kg sleds with built-in rope loops and 4 removable pushing poles.
All our gym sleds feature black powder-coated finishes and loading pins for adding weight plates. These allow you to effortlessly add weighted plates for increased resistance during your workout.
Sled Ropes
Featuring an easily adjustable design, our 15m sled ropes are perfect for quickly customising resistance during interval training.
Each rope is also built to increase your safety and comfort during pulling and dragging movements. They’re made from a durable, waterproof, tear-resistant material for added grip and performance.
Industrial Grade Nylon Sled Vests
Constructed from industrial-grade nylon, our robust sled vests boast weight-bearing capacities of 500kg. Each vest comes with front and side hooks for attachments, acting as a harness to help you pull heavy loads. They’re built for a one-size-fits-all design and have neoprene padding on the sides for comfort.

What Exercises Can I Do with a Weight Sled?
Heavy-duty weight sleds are a great way to reach your strength, conditioning, and endurance goals. They are often used for sport-specific workouts like rugby and hyrox training. Some common sled-based exercises for a full-body workout include:
-
Sled push: Engages the quads, glutes, and hamstrings.
-
Sled pull: Focuses on pulling movements for overall strength.
-
Sled drag: Ideal for building lower-body strength.
-
Sled row: Targets the upper body and back muscles, as well as helps develop a strong core.
-
Sled sprint: Perfect for speed training and improving explosive power.
How Much Weight Should I Use for Sled Exercises?
The amount of weight an athlete should use depends on their experience, the different exercises they’re performing, and the sport they’re training for. You can focus on adding a percentage of your body weight for building strength and fitness:
-
Beginner: <10%
-
Intermediate: 10-20%
-
Advanced: >30%
However, if athletes are using gym sled weights for high-intensity sprinting fitness or rehabilitation, then they should typically train with lighter weights (10-30%).
What Are the Performance Benefits of Using Gym Power Sleds?
There are numerous benefits of incorporating weight sled workouts into your training, including:
-
Full-body training: Gym sleds enable you to train a variety of different muscle groups, including your arms, shoulders, legs, core, and back.
-
Low-impact cardio: Sled-based workouts allow you to challenge your cardiovascular system without the high risk of injury that comes with other forms of high-intensity conditioning.
-
Increased explosive power: There are various exercises, like sled pushes and sprints, which are suited for building lower-body speed and strength through short, simple, explosive intervals.
-
Caters to people of all fitness levels: Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, you can add weight based on your ability, and increase the intensity as you progress and want to push yourself more.
What Surface Do I Need for a Weight Sled?
The best surface for your weight sled depends on the type:
-
Wheeled sleds can handle almost any surface, bringing consistency to many different environments, including grass and turf.
-
Traditional sleds without wheels are better suited for a gym sled track like our sprint tracks.
