20k but isn't bulky and is well balanced. I had previous vests which were bulky, awkward and not very sturdy or balanced. I use this during body pump classes to save balancing a barbell when trying to squat or lunge which enables me to concentrate better on the movement and gain full benefit.
This is very well put together, yet comfortable at the same time. Used for longer walks, and enhancing fat man rows and loaded carries. Doesn't impinge range of motion, and the ability to vary both the load and its distribution is very helpful for a novice like me.
2 tips from using in the first 3 weeks. Firstly don't go conkers deep on your first walk - let your traps and lower neck get used to bearing pressure by small increments in weight and load. And secondly, you may forget you're wearing it.....this is 'a good thing' until you stoop to tie shoelaces or pet a dog. Unexpected dental work may be needed.
