• Adjustable dumbbells: Our adjustable dumbbells have removable plates, allowing you to customise workouts. Browse options ranging from 1kg to 60kg. 

• Commercial dumbbell pairs & sets: Fantastic for commercial and home exercise spaces, our commercial dumbbell pairs and sets are available in weights ranging from 2.5kg to 70kg. 

Each dumbbell is coated in rubber to prevent injury or damage to the floor if dropped. They’re ideal for dumbbell exercises like bench presses, side lateral rows and goblet squats to enhance your core. Dumbbells are also great for Russian twists, plank rows, suitcase crunches and side plank raises.  

Kettlebells

Our UK-designed kettlebells range from 4 kg to 60 kg. These pro-forged kettlebells are available as singles or sets and feature ergonomic handles, a compact design and a matte black finish. Use them to vary your crunches, reverse crunches and whole body exercises.

Other kettlebell exercises you can try include:

• Kettlebell swings to engage your whole torso, especially your lower abs. 

• Goblet squats force your core to stabilise the rest of your body.

Our resistance bands are made from high-quality latex or stretch fabric and are available in several thicknesses and colours. They come in sets of varying resistances, ranging from extra light to extra heavy. To tone your abs, use the bands in Russian twists, Pallof presses or banded wood chops. 

Resistance bands are the ideal starting point for core workouts and various other fitness regimes. Compact and easy to fold away, they’re also suitable for small spaces or outdoor workouts.

What are the benefits of core exercises?

How do sit-ups work my core?

Sit-ups primarily target the rectus abdominis, the muscle group that runs vertically down the front of your abdomen and forms the basis of the "six-pack." They also engage the obliques (side abs) and the transverse abdominis, which is the deepest layer of abdominal muscle that stabilises your core.

When performing a sit-up:

• The rectus abdominis contracts to lift your upper body, helping with forward flexion of the spine.

• The obliques assist with twisting and side-bending motions.

• The transverse abdominis activates to stabilise your spine, pelvis, and posture throughout the movement.

Together, these muscles support functional movements like sitting, standing, bending and rotating, while also improving core strength and spinal stability.
