Factory Weights General Warranty

All Factory Weights equipment includes a 1-year warranty from date of purchase, apart from products or product components listed in the table below. 

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and is subject to the terms and conditions below. Damage to equipment caused by misuse, neglect, or general wear and tear is not covered.

Products not produced by Factory Weights will be treated with the manufacturers warranty. Additional warranty information can be seen on the products page.

Factory Weights warrants to the original purchaser that Factory Weights product will be free for material workmanship or defects for a period as specified below from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the product page.

For Every Warranty: *Warranty will be voided for any item which is damaged due to faulty or negligent use/storage/maintenance/alteration/handling. For bars this includes abusive dropping of the bar on; spotter arms or pins, a box or bench. Including, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, excessive dropping with iron plates, excessive dropping on concrete or similar surfaces. Issues like rust, paint chipping, tears in fabric and any other issue that could occur due to user error, or the products environment are not covered.

 

Lifetime Warranty

Factory Weights will offer warranty to the original purchaser of the product from functional/material/workmanship defects for the lifetime of the item. This warranty will end when the product becomes unusable for reasons other than functional/material/workmanship defects. The Warranty only applies to the original purchase for as long as they still own the product and it is non-transferable. 

Specific Period 

Factory Weights will offer warranty to the original purchaser of the product from functional/material/workmanship defects for a period of the stated years from the date of purchase of the item. The Warranty only applies to the original purchase for as long as they still own the product and it is non-transferable.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

• If a product develops an issue that is covered within the warranty period, please contact us.
• You must include your original order number and delivery address.
• We aim to respond to all warranty claims within 48 hours.
• Products must not be returned unless approved and must be accompanied by a valid claim number.
• Failure to follow this procedure and our reasonable requests will invalidate the warranty.
