I'm really pleased I finally upgraded to an olympic bar and plates. This had been In the works for quite some time. I did plenty of searching online, the FW kit looked like the best bang for your buck, and I'm happy to say the quality feels good too.
FW staff were helpful answering my questions about their stock.
Bar and plates arrived in two separate deliveries, - both nice and swift.
I'm no expert when it comes to olympic barbells, but I'm really enjoying this. The Bar and plates look great. A real pleasure to use.
Several weeks in, I'm still feeling the buzz each workout.
- the only downside is it has me thinking about additional (unnecessary) ways I could upgrade the home gym.
I recommend getting some quick release collars, and some kind of storage device since those heavier bumper plates get pretty chunky.
Later I ordered some fractional plates as I realised I would have difficulty sticking to my training program's progressions without them.

I've used the weights and bar a couple of times. Seem great to me. All as expected. It's just my dodgy home built squat wrack that I'm cautiously loading weight onto.
