The 15kg FW Hybrid Barbell is the counterpart to our flagship 20kg FW Bar, built to the same standards with no corners cut in design or manufacturing. It has a 25mm shaft, which fits smaller hands better and gives a more secure grip, and it’s the standard spec for women’s weightlifting and CrossFit competition. Being a true multipurpose bar, it performs just as well for squat, bench and deadlift as it does for the snatch and the clean and jerk, which makes it ideal for CrossFit boxes, commercial gyms and home setups.

Every FW Bar is made from specially selected 190,000 PSI steel. Each batch is performance tested under maximum load for 25,000 reps to ensure consistent quality. It’s designed to feel solid under heavy squats, presses and pulls but still has a moderate whip for Olympic lifts. The thinner shaft lets you wrap your hand around the bar more, which helps with hook grip, turnover in the clean and holding on through high-rep WODs.

The standard knurl gives a secure grip without being too harsh for high-rep sessions. Dual IPF/IWF knurl marks make your hand placement consistent across every lift, and there’s no centre knurl to scratch up your neck during cleans or front squats. Four bronze bushings give smooth, reliable sleeve rotation and the 680kg weight capacity means it takes everything you can put on it.

The ‘Standard’ and ‘Gold’ bar options have a black hard chrome shaft. The other options are finished in American CERAKOTE® paint, which gives better resistance to oxidisation than any bar finish, except stainless steel.
